This is your chance to explore the world of BROADCASTING. Get your start by registering for the Broadcasting Class: Introduction to Radio and Television.
“…I want to be in Television and this class has given me great
experience toward my career…” -Jackie
In this ‘lab style’ class, you will work hands-on producing your own radio shows and experiencing what it takes to be a DJ working behind the microphone.
“…There’s so much happening at once! Running all of the controls
and pushing the right buttons while trying to talk over the mic at the same time was amazing.” -Ally
You’ll work behind the scenes and in front of the Television cameras producing music videos, commercials and more, and record newscasts using ‘green screen’ chromakey technology to superimpose weather maps and Doppler radar right onto your weather broadcast.
“…Trying to report the weather and point to the right place on the blank green wall while looking at the floor monitor to find the lake gave me a new appreciation for what they do on TV every night…” -Dan
It all starts by registering for the class:
