Assessment Schedule for SAT, PSAT 10, PSAT 8/9

The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) will continue to require public-school students in grade 11 to take the SAT.  The three Maine Township High School District 207 schools (Maine East, Maine South and Maine West) will administer the state-funded SAT to all juniors in April (see schedule below).  Illinois state law (Section 2-3.64a-5 of the School Code) requires a student to participate in the SAT to receive a regular high school diploma. All colleges and universities accept the SAT as an official entrance exam.

New this year, Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) will require public-school students in grade 9 to take the PSAT 8/9 and public-school students in grade 10 to take the PSAT 10.  Maine East, Maine South and Maine West will administer the state-funded PSAT to all freshmen and sophomores in April (see schedule below).
