Maine Township High School District 207 recently was informed it had once again earned the highest financial rating from the Illinois State Board of Education. District 207 earned a “recognition” status and a 4.0 score, the highest available.
The score is based on the following measures:
- Fund Balance to Revenue Ratio
- Expenditure to Revenue Ratio
- Days Cash on Hand
- Percent of Short-Term Borrowing Ability Remaining
- Percent of Long-Term Debt Margin Remaining
If a district receives a score of 3.54 – 4.00, they are in the highest category of financial strength according to ISBE.
