GED stands for General Educational Development. Passing the GED Tests enables a student to earn a GED diploma.  The passing of this test is accepted by most employers and schools. For more information on how to obtain your GED, please call the GED office at Oakton Community College at 847-635-1426.

The Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (icirr) partnered with local organizations to give help to immigrant families who are not eligible for federal help (undocumented families). They can apply for a $1,000 grant to help. They need to complete an application with one of the partner agencies.  All the information is in the link provided. 
 

La Coalición de Illinois para los Derechos de los Inmigrantes y Refugiados (icirr) se asoció con organizaciones locales para brindar ayuda a las familias inmigrantes que no son elegibles para recibir ayuda federal (familias retiradas).
